MeddyLab pharmacy and dispensary policy for safe medical product fulfillment
Verified vendor responsibility
Pharmacy vendors must follow product safety, storage and fulfillment requirements.
Important: MeddyLab is a multivendor marketplace. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, prescription review or emergency healthcare support. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional when needed.

1. Purpose

MeddyLab connects buyers with licensed pharmacies, healthcare suppliers, medical vendors, laboratory suppliers and distributors. This policy promotes safe, responsible and lawful dispensing practices while helping customers access healthcare products from verified vendors.

2. Licensed Vendors

Only authorized vendors may list pharmaceutical products on MeddyLab. Vendors offering medicines may be required to provide pharmacy licenses, regulatory approvals, business registration documents, professional certifications and product authorization documents.

  • MeddyLab may request compliance documents before or after listing approval.
  • Vendors that fail verification may be suspended, restricted or removed.
  • All product claims must be accurate and lawful.

3. Prescription Medicines

Prescription medicines may only be dispensed where legally permitted. Customers may be required to provide valid prescriptions, doctor recommendations, medical reports or other regulatory documentation.

Vendors may decline fulfillment if prescription information is missing, cannot be verified, appears unsafe, or does not meet applicable legal requirements.

4. Over-the-Counter Medicines

OTC medicines may be purchased without prescription where permitted by law. Customers should read product labels carefully, follow manufacturer instructions, review warnings and consult healthcare professionals when necessary.

Safety-first marketplace standard

MeddyLab expects all pharmacy and healthcare vendors to prioritize product authenticity, proper labeling, correct storage, safe fulfillment and transparent customer communication.

5. Product Authenticity

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that products are genuine, properly labeled, legally sourced, within expiry dates, stored appropriately and supplied through approved channels.

  • Counterfeit products are prohibited.
  • Expired products are prohibited.
  • Tampered, misbranded or unauthorized products are prohibited.

6. Storage and Handling

Vendors must store products according to manufacturer requirements. This may include temperature-controlled storage, cold-chain maintenance, proper packaging, expiry management and inventory monitoring.

Products requiring refrigeration must be transported using suitable cold-chain procedures where applicable.

7. Restricted Products

The following may not be listed or sold unless expressly approved and legally permitted:

  • Counterfeit medicines
  • Expired medicines
  • Controlled substances
  • Illegal drugs
  • Unauthorized medical products
  • Unregistered pharmaceuticals
  • Unsafe healthcare products

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing product details before purchase, using medicines according to instructions and consulting healthcare professionals where necessary.

Customers should not self-medicate irresponsibly or use MeddyLab as a replacement for qualified medical advice.

9. Order Verification

Certain pharmaceutical orders may require prescription review, identity confirmation, vendor validation or compliance checks before fulfillment. Orders may be delayed or canceled where verification cannot be completed.

10. Returns and Refunds

Due to health, safety and regulatory requirements, medicines and healthcare products may not be eligible for return once supplied. Returns may only be accepted where the wrong product was supplied, the product arrived damaged, expired, or materially different from the listing description.

Approved refunds remain subject to MeddyLab’s Refund Policy and marketplace review process.

11. Product Information

Product descriptions are supplied by vendors. MeddyLab encourages accuracy but does not guarantee that every dosage note, instruction, image, specification or description is error-free. Customers should verify critical information with healthcare professionals.

12. Adverse Reactions

Customers experiencing adverse reactions should stop usage where appropriate, seek immediate medical attention, contact relevant healthcare professionals and report concerns to appropriate authorities where necessary.

13. Vendor Compliance

Vendors must comply with applicable healthcare regulations, pharmacy regulations, consumer protection laws, product safety requirements and import or distribution requirements. Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent removal.

14. Limitation of Liability

MeddyLab acts as a marketplace connecting buyers and vendors. MeddyLab is not the manufacturer, dispenser, pharmacist, healthcare provider or distributor of products listed by third-party vendors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeddyLab shall not be liable for product misuse, medical outcomes, adverse reactions, incorrect self-diagnosis, vendor misrepresentations, delayed deliveries or regulatory restrictions.

15. Policy Updates

MeddyLab may modify this policy at any time. Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of MeddyLab constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
