Check Your Fertile Days

Enter your cycle details below.

Most cycles range from 21 to 35 days, but you can choose up to 40 days.
Note: This tool gives an estimate only. Speak with a doctor or fertility specialist for medical advice, irregular cycles, PCOS, breastfeeding, recent contraception use, or fertility concerns.

How the Fertile Window Works

The fertile window is the period in your menstrual cycle when pregnancy is most likely. It usually includes the five days before ovulation and the day after ovulation because sperm can survive for several days in the reproductive tract, while the egg remains viable for a shorter time after release.

For many people, ovulation happens around 14 days before the next period. That means a 28-day cycle often ovulates around day 14, while a 32-day cycle may ovulate around day 18. This calculator uses your last menstrual period and average cycle length to estimate those dates.

For better accuracy, combine this calculator with ovulation predictor kits, cervical mucus tracking, basal body temperature, cycle history, and medical guidance where necessary.

Signs of Ovulation

Stretchy cervical mucus, mild pelvic pain, increased libido, breast tenderness, and a slight temperature shift may occur around ovulation.

When to Test

Start ovulation testing a few days before the predicted ovulation date. Testing daily during your fertile window can improve timing.

Cycle Timeline Guide

Day 1: First day of menstrual bleeding. This starts a new cycle.
Before Ovulation: Estrogen rises and fertile cervical mucus may appear.
Fertile Window: Usually the five days before ovulation plus ovulation day.
Ovulation: An egg is released from the ovary.
Next Period: If pregnancy does not occur, the next period usually begins after the cycle length is complete.
