It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, providing relief from symptoms such as redness, irritation, and... discharge. Opticol Eye Drops are suitable for use in both adults and children, helping to restore eye health and comfort quickly and effectively. Active Ingredient Chloramphenicol (0.5% w/v): An antibiotic that prevents bacteria from producing essential proteins needed for growth and replication, thereby eliminating the infection. Key Benefits of Opticol Eye Drops Treats Bacterial Eye Infections: Effective against a wide range of bacteria that cause eye infections, including conjunctivitis and blepharitis, reducing symptoms like redness, swelling, and discharge. Prevents Spread of Infection: By eliminating bacteria, Opticol Eye Drops help prevent the spread of infection to other parts of the eye or to other individuals. Suitable for Adults and Children: Safe for use in adults and children over 2 years old, making it a versatile treatment for bacterial eye infections in the family. How to Use Wash Hands: Ensure your hands are clean before applying the drops to avoid contamination. Tilt Head Back: Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Apply Drops: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2-4 hours, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your eye or any surface.
