Effective Relief for Vaginal Dryness with Replens MD Replens MD Vaginal Moisturizer is a non-hormonal, long-lasting gel designed for women experiencing vaginal dryness, itching, or discomfort. Unlike regular lubricants that only provide temporary moisture during intercourse, Replens MD provides continuous hydration that lasts for up to three days per application.... Why Replens MD is Different Most lubricants are short-acting and used only during intimacy. Replens MD is a medical device formulated with a unique bioadhesive polymer called Polycarbophil. This polymer allows the gel to attach to dry vaginal cells and continuously release water to hydrate the tissues. This helps restore natural moisture and maintains a healthy pH balance. Clinical Efficacy Clinically, Replens MD has been shown to be as effective as hormonal estrogen creams in relieving symptoms of vaginal atrophy. It is an excellent choice for women who cannot or prefer not to use hormone-based treatments. Who Should Use It? Replens MD is ideal for managing dryness caused by: Menopause or perimenopause Post-pregnancy and breastfeeding Stress or certain medications Cancer treatments (where hormonal creams are often restricted) How to Use Replens MD Use the reusable applicator provided to insert the gel into the vagina. For most women, one application every three days is sufficient, but it can be used more or less frequently depending on the severity of symptoms. Each 35g tube provides approximately 12 applications, lasting about 4 weeks. Safety Information Hormone-Free: 100% estrogen-free. Condom Compatibility: Compatible with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms. Do not use with polyurethane condoms. Sensations: Some women may experience a slight "pepperish" or burning sensation if tissues are very dry. This is normal and usually subsides as hydration improves. For personalized advice or if you have concerns about "toilet infection" symptoms, you can contact a Meddylab pharmacist for a consultation.
