Comfosmart Arm Sling: Professional Support for Quick Recovery The Comfosmart Arm Sling is a high-quality orthopedic support designed to immobilize and elevate the arm, wrist, or shoulder. Manufactured by Apothecaries Sundries (ASCO) in India, it is a trusted choice in Nigeria for managing fractures, sprains, and post-operative recovery. Crafted with... a focus on patient comfort, this sling features an "envelope" design that cradles the forearm, distributing weight evenly across the neck and shoulder. This helps reduce strain on the joints and prevents further injury during the healing process. Key Benefits Optimal Immobilization: Keeps your arm at the correct 90-degree angle to promote faster healing of fractures and dislocations. Breathable Design: Made from foam-fused, breathable mesh material that ensures airflow, making it ideal for the Nigerian climate. Adjustable Comfort: Features a non-stretching webbing strap with a sliding plastic buckle for easy length adjustment. Padded Shoulder Guard: Includes a padded neck guard to prevent the strap from digging into the skin or causing irritation. Hand Stabilization: An internal thumb loop helps maintain the hand's position and prevents the sling from sliding forward. Indications for Use Forearm and wrist fractures Shoulder dislocations or subluxation Post-operative immobilization Support for heavy plaster casts Mild sprains and strains How to Use Place the forearm inside the fabric pouch. Pass the strap over the opposite shoulder and through the buckle. Adjust the strap length until the arm is comfortably supported at a 90-degree angle. Secure the hand by placing the thumb through the internal loop. If you are unsure about the correct size or how to wear the sling, please contact a Meddylab pharmacist for professional guidance.
