Feldene Gel 25g: Fast Relief for Joint and Muscle Pain in Nigeria Feldene Gel is a highly effective topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used extensively in Nigeria for localized pain management. Formulated with Piroxicam (0.5%), this gel targets the source of discomfort directly through the skin. It offers a significant... advantage by providing sharp relief from inflammation without the higher systemic absorption?and potential stomach irritation?often associated with oral painkillers. Why Choose Feldene Gel? Localized Action: Concentrates the active ingredient where you need it most, such as the knee, ankle, or lower back. Fast-Acting Relief: The gel formula is designed for quick absorption, helping to reduce swelling and pain shortly after application. Non-Staining: This clear Piroxicam gel is non-greasy and will not stain your clothing or bedding. Versatile Use: Ideal for both chronic conditions like arthritis and acute injuries like sprains. Common Indications In Nigeria, Feldene Gel is a go-to treatment for: Osteoarthritis: Managing pain in superficial joints like the hands and knees. Sports & Work Injuries: Fast relief for sprains, strains, and "pulled muscles." Back and Waist Pain: Soothing acute lower backaches and muscular waist pain. Rheumatism & Tendonitis: Reducing inflammation in tendons and soft tissues. Application Instructions Apply approximately 1 gram (about 3cm) of the gel to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily. Gently massage the gel into the skin until fully absorbed. For the best results, consistency is key. Always wash your hands after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. Important Safety Information While topical Piroxicam is generally well-tolerated, you should consult a professional if you have sensitive skin or a history of asthma or NSAID allergies. Can a pregnant woman use Feldene Gel? It is usually advised to avoid NSAIDs during pregnancy; please chat with a Meddylab pharmacist for a safer recommendation tailored to your needs.
