NEO-PRESOL Acne & After Shave Lotion (25ml) NEO-PRESOL is a high-potency, triple-action topical solution manufactured by Drugfield Pharmaceuticals Limited in Nigeria. It is specifically formulated to treat inflammatory skin conditions, including acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, and various forms of dermatitis. Its unique combination of anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and exfoliating properties makes... it one of the most effective treatments for "shaving bumps" and skin eruptions that occur after shaving. Key Benefits & Uses of Neo-Presol Treatment for Razor Bumps: Effectively calms skin and prevents the formation of painful razor bumps (pseudofolliculitis barbae) and post-shave eruptions. Targeted Acne Care: Helps control acne vulgaris and rosacea by reducing redness, swelling, and bacterial growth. Dermatitis Management: Provides relief from the itching and flakiness associated with seborrheic dermatitis. Triple-Action Formula: Combines a corticosteroid for inflammation, an antibiotic for bacterial defense, and sulphur for gentle exfoliation and oil control. Active Ingredients Each ml of NEO-PRESOL lotion contains: Methylprednisolone Acetate (2.5mg): A potent corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation, itching, and allergic reactions. Neomycin Sulphate (2.5mg): An antibiotic that combats bacterial infections on the skin surface. Colloidal Sulphur (50mg): Provides keratolytic (exfoliating) action to unclog pores and offers mild antifungal benefits. Aluminium Chlorhydroxide Complex (100mg): Acts as an astringent to control excess oiliness and soothe the skin. How to Use Neo-Presol Lotion Wash and Dry: Cleanse the affected area with a mild soap or cleanser and pat dry. Shake Well: Always shake the bottle thoroughly before application to ensure the active ingredients are well-mixed. Application: Apply a thin layer to the affected areas once or twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Post-Shave: Apply immediately after shaving to prevent irritation and bumps. Safety Information & Precautions Prescription Only: Neo-Presol is a Prescription-Only Medicine (POM). We recommend consulting with a Meddylab pharmacist or your doctor before use. External Use Only: Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Usage Duration: Prolonged use of topical steroids can cause skin thinning. Use only for the recommended duration. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (below 30?C) away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Note: You may notice the bottle appears half full. This is because the manufacturer uses a 50ml capacity bottle for the 25ml quantity of liquid.
