Helping "fussy" babies settle when discomfort is caused by digestive issues. How Nospamin Works The active ingredient in Nospamin Drops is Homatropine Methylbromide (2mg/ml). It belongs to a class of medicines called anticholinergics. By blocking certain signals in the nervous system, it helps the intestinal muscles relax, which stops the painful squeezing or "spasms" that cause colic. Nospamin Dosage for Newborns and Infants It is important to follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. Typically, Nospamin is administered 10 to 15 minutes before feeding, 3 to 4 times daily.
