Elderly Patients: A lower initial dose of 3 mg daily, divided into multiple doses, is recommended due to increased sensitivity. Administration: Talen tablets should be taken orally with water. The tablets can be divided into equal doses if necessary. Precautions Dependence and Withdrawal: Prolonged use can lead to physical and psychological dependence. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided; instead, the dose should be gradually reduced under medical supervision. Contraindications: Talen should not be used in patients with severe respiratory insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, sleep apnea syndrome, or a history of hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines. Alcohol and CNS Depressants: Concurrent use with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants can enhance the sedative effects and should be avoided.
