Water Intake Calculator & Daily Hydration Checker

Estimate how much water you may need daily based on your weight, activity level, weather condition and special hydration needs. This tool helps you plan better while shopping wellness, hydration, nutrition and health monitoring products from verified MeddyLab vendors.

Calculate Your Daily Water Intake

Enter your weight and lifestyle details for an estimated hydration target.

Important: This is an estimate, not medical advice. People with kidney disease, heart disease, liver disease, fluid restriction, swelling, pregnancy complications or medication-related fluid changes should follow guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.

How to Use the MeddyLab Water Intake Calculator

The water intake calculator uses your body weight, activity level, weather condition and special hydration needs to estimate how much water you may need daily. It gives a practical daily target in litres, millilitres and cups so you can plan your hydration more easily.

Your water need can increase when you sweat, exercise, work outdoors, live in hot weather, are pregnant, are breastfeeding, or are recovering from fluid loss. However, hydration needs are not the same for everyone, especially if you have a medical condition or have been advised to restrict fluid.

Enter Weight

Use your current body weight in kilograms for the estimate.

Choose Activity

Select how active you are and how much you sweat daily.

Review Result

See your estimated daily water target in litres, ml and cups.

Why Your Water Intake May Change

A person who sits indoors in cool weather may need less fluid than someone who works outside under the sun. Exercise, fever, sweating, diarrhoea, breastfeeding and hot weather can increase fluid needs. Some foods also contribute to hydration, especially fruits, soups and vegetables with high water content.

When to Be Careful With Water Intake

Drinking enough water is important, but drinking too much can also be unsafe in some situations. If you have kidney disease, heart failure, liver disease, swelling, low sodium, pregnancy complications, or you are on medication that affects fluid balance, follow your healthcare provider’s advice rather than using a general calculator alone.
